Cinema Mo Cap and Kickstarter – HomeMake!

homemake blog

Last week we were pleasantly surprised to get a tweet from new game development Team Franklin Cosgrove & Archgame (Cory and Matt), thanking us for how awesome Cinema Mo Cap was. It is always great to hear from the people using our software, and it makes us feel great to know our products are helping them out. In the case of FCA, the project they are working on is called HomeMake – A game where you “Explore an endless urban planetoid by transferring your mind between bodies in this platform adventure game.”

The protagonist of the game is actually the city itself, which morphs and adapts to each unique user playing the game. This makes sense, as Cory and Matt are both currently architecture students, doing game dev in their spare time at night. All of us know how difficult it can be juggling mutliple projects and putting in late night after late night.

What we think is awesome, is that Cory and Matt are using Cinema Mo Cap for many of their animations in the game! For a full update on how they used Cinema Mo Cap, check out their Kickstarter update here!

We wish Cory and Matt the best of luck.

Also, to back this awesome game, make sure to check out their Kickstarter!
